Our Circular Farming Process

We close the loop on our farm, using waste to create new resources and ensure a truly sustainable model.

1

Dairy Waste

Our cows produce manure, which is a key input for our regenerative system.

2

Compost Production

Manure is combined with crop residues to create nutrient-rich compost that improves soil health.

3

Crop Nutrition

This compost is used to fertilize our fields and greenhouses, leading to healthier produce and cows.

Our Sustainable Story

At Orpurkel Farms, sustainability is at the heart of our mission. We proudly tap into the Nolturesh River, a vital water source flowing from the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, to nourish our crops and livestock in the semi-arid lands of Imbirikani, Kajiado South.

Through a pipeline spur extending from the Nolturesh Pipeline to the Chyulu Hills, we ensure efficient water delivery to our high-tech greenhouses and fields, fostering a thriving, eco-conscious farming system. By blending traditional Maasai wisdom with modern regenerative practices, we cultivate abundance while preserving the land for future generations.
